Schmalschläger Road

In Germany there is a Schmalschläger Road or as they say in German: Schmalschlägerstraße.

The Schmalschlager road is in Bad Reichenhall a town in the south of Germany in the distict of Karlstein. The Germantown is near Saltzburg on the border with Austria.

The steep up hill road leads to ruin Castle Karlstein and passes the Catholic pilgrimage church St. Pankraz.

The road is named after it’s builder, Joh. Schmalschläger. Who is said to have been a duke who lived in the castle.
